Have a look on Perthshire's stunning landscapes through eyes of various artists. Exhibition of landscape paintings, drawings and prints drawn from the art collections at Perth Museum & Art Gallery. The theme is how artists have depicted Perthshire and how the various and often dramatic landscapes of the area have inspired artists. The exhibition will include iconic paintings such as the romantic image of Loch Katrine painted by Horatio McCulloch in 1866.

These aliens didn't arrive from outer space. They are invasive non-native animals and plants that have the ability to spread causing damage to the environment, the economy, our health and the way we live. In this new exhibition you can find out about the invasive species that are causing concern in Scotland and the plans to tackle them.

Perth Museum & Art Gallery has invited members of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW) to celebrate the inspiring nature of Perth & Kinross as a place to live, work and create art. The exhibition will bring together a selection of new and innovative works exploring the medium of watercolour. Many different themes relating to the landscapes and character of Perth & Kinross will be on show.

Jacobite Clans Alive!

Activity: Natural Built Heritage

Come along on to Scone Palace as it is visited by some Jacobite clansmen. The Alba Adventure Company will perform a living history presentation explaining about these fearsome Jacobites warriors and their fight to restore the Stuart Kings to the throne and the infamous rebellions of 1715 and 1745. Dressed in traditional costumes of this time and demonstrating weapons they would have used, this light hearted but informative presentation is designed to appeal to both young and old.
