The Gannochy Trust
Choose a walk from the paths running through Quarrymill’s wooded valley, featuring waterfalls and weirs.
Natural attractions include a wide range of trees and shrubs, along with carpets of grass, ferns and wild flowers in season.
The park has many wheelchair accessible facilities including viewing platforms, picnic sites and a coffee shop.
There are two types of path and the main ones are suitable for wheelchair users. A few smaller paths are more steeply inclined and may not be accessible for everyone.
Barbeque and picnic areas are featured beside the burn providing the ideal resting place to enjoy the scenery and listen to the birdsong.
Many wild flowers and different species of trees and shrubs line the picturesque walks providing shelter for ducks, moorhens and other wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the squirrels that have made their home amongst the trees.
