A series of mountain walks reveals remote lochs and ancient pinewood remnants in the wild upper reaches.

For those looking for something less strenuous, there is also plenty of scope for low level walking.

Rare pine martens live in the glen and in October the haunting sounds of roaring stags resonate around the area.

Visit all year round. Access information for hillwalkers, t: 01887 820276.

Walks range from easy to strenuous with lots of cycling opportunities.
